Wiring?????

I'm converting my mk3 from gas to diesel...i'm looking at my fuel tank wires adn i was wondering can i just connec the purple and brown wires from the diesel's hareness to the one on the gas(matching the wires)

I've got one more question....I switched most of the winring harness in the car(diesel convertion) and they guy who installed it for me told me it can only connect to one spot on the fuse panel...i ground the car today and tested, all my lights work, but gauges come one...my sunroof doesn;t work :evil: ???the relay is ther and the wiring...it only moves maybe half a cm...
