t3/t4 could it happen?

like the title says could it? because when my pump is fully jacked it POURS black smoke and makes smokey transport trucks look like sissies. I am currently running 23 psi with with a stock garret from a 1.6l td. I NEED more air  :lol:  anyways still fun. any other sugestions would be cool to.

You could try porting your head or doing other things besides raising boost pressure to get more airflow...  cold air intake with a free-flow air filter, big exhaust, bigger/better intercooler, will all help some.  With that extra fuel, any change you make that adds more airflow will be immediately noticeable as extra power.  Remember, increasing boost pressure by turning up the wastegate will also cause pre-turbine backpressure to increase.  More pre-turbine backpressure in addition to causing higher EGTs, will also sap additional power off the crank during the exhaust stroke.  So just cranking the boost up more is not a "free" way of getting more air.  You might do an intake air temp measurement of the air temps getting into your intake, and use that data to determine if you need better intercooling.
