Oh wait nm I see what you're pointing to... Its late here
There is one that runs along the injectors then goes down below the intake tube. I loose it after that. Plus its dark here. Doesn't seem like there is a spot for a second hose to connect to that.
Actually I mean the black canister behind the interesting fuel line. ;-)
yup, so that's the actuator.. apply suction to the hose that goes into it and it should tug on a lever and up the idle.
If not... it's defective.
If so... then the issue is upstream... follow that hose, I'll bet it goes to the white plastic line you can see in the other picture by the air filter, and then to the solenoid valve.
the rubber can sometimes rot and then provide a leak. this would probably result in loss of vacuum somewhat... maybe even less power brakes???
So I checked it today. Used a vacuum pump on it and no go. The line is sucking pretty hard to. So I guess its the actuator.
Is it hard to replace? Do I have to replace the whole assembly or just the the part where the line hooks up to?
Whats the part run for?
Figured out why the idle doesn't rise
Looked at it closely and noticed that it worked in many ways similar to a carburetor... So it stopped looking so Greek to me
On the end of the cable that pulls the lever there is supposed to be a nut or clamp of some sort. Mines missing. So the cable is completely loose... Now I gotta figure out a way to clamp the cable snug.
Thank god crappy tire sells some of those cable clamps.
After clamping the cable The idle with a/c improved right away. Then I had to adjust the idle for a/c and non a/c to get it from stalling out when taking it out of gear. But now it works good.
Thanks Vincent Waldon for that picture. It helped.

No prob dude... a picture is worth at least 1000 words, as they say !!
