I wish those were for my old GTD.
Being a bit of a bodger, I use this method. Find very steep and quiet hill, stop, turn off ignition, engage a suitable gear, and let off the hand brake. If you have the right gear, the car will stop on each cylinder compression, how long depends on how fast that air leaks through rings, valves, and assorted holes. Seven, one, three and five seconds suggests that a proper compression test would only say bad news.
While road testing the "new" GTD I got eight, eight, six & seven seconds. So I bought it. Best £500 i've spent in a while. :wink:
