What is the best way to lower my car with stock suspension?

About the only way you can lower the car with stock suspension is to cut off coils from the springs.  Keep in mind that it increases the effective spring rate when you do this.  And it is not recommended by most people.

You could also sag the springs by heating them with a torch.  The chances of you getting the car balanced & handling properly with this method are far less than you melting brake lines or setting it on fire.

should probably be heating up the coils outside of the car... but leaving them on while you do it would help you get the right height a bit easier...

you need to get even heat distribution over the steel though (possibly even heating it red hot?)

hahaha! All very awsome suggestions,

Is there a good method for getting the height as similar as possible when heating out side of the car?

recommended coilovers? and drop to my car? (i.e height, how low should I go?)

I wouldn't touch stock suspension at all. Just asking for trouble IMO.

If you are tight on cash just get some lowering springs and run them with stock shocks/struts.

Just get a cheap cupkit. Worth it in the end.

IMO springs with stock shocks are horrible to drive with, you may as well just save your cash and buy either springs and shocks, or a cheap set of coilies
