• who makes better rods for a 1.6td?
  
  someone told me the rods in a 1.6 diesel are different than a 1.6 gas, i thought they were the same? can anyone offer some advice? thanks!!

• yes they are beefier.Theres companys that sell them that will work .I dont think its VW specific,i think theyre for another application.Hey GO BUCKS by the way.Where at in OH?
