Not a misprint. I just got some- B100 is SIX five 0. dino D @3.85. So much for our great amber colored hope this spring, at least. "market forces" may drive many high-quality startup biodiesel producers out of business.
How convenient for the large oil companies.
Though I don't know what grade it is, bio was $4.03 here last time I got some. I think you are just getting bent over since you are in Boulder, and most people in Boulder will pay that much. I sure wouldn't.
Yeah- it was $3.49 most of last summer here. I know and trust the operator of the station- a commercial fueler/supplier. I'd be curious what your station is charging for B100 these days. the price has been going up here by about 50 cents a week for the last month. (they sell and order more than most places, so their price turns over fast as well).
That's the only thing, my station has never stated if it's b100, b20, b5 or what. Just says biodiesel.
Wow! Glad I make my own!
Does not help is the price of soybeens is $13.30 a bushel for biodiesel. And for ethanol with corn at a all time high of $6.20 a bushel. Helps the farmers, but not the people who use the end product.
Helps the farmers
Or it's just going to the middlemen...
