Ive just assembled my bottome end with new pistons and rigs in a brandnew 40 over bore.Ive done the bottom end and rod bearings also.I used the 6 piece number 3 on the mains,as well as a 36mm oil pump. When measuring piston protrusion i was turnng her back over to tdc and i noticed a slight "resistance"or drag when coming up to just about tdc for no.1.I was thinking maybe the baffle on the oil pick-up is rubbing. Its right around where the ridge used to be before machining(the resistance).I didnt notice it before i put the pan on,does anyone have any ideas? Its very slight just enough to stop fluid piston travel.
