my freaking car decieded to crap out on me. freaking oil in the coolant. now im looking into prices for a rebuild kit which i hope i can get done before next quarter starts. (if my dad would let me drive up to canada to get a different motor i could have a new engine in there within 2 DAYS!!!!) im depressed now

are you sure the coolant to oil heat exchanger oil "cooler" on the filter mount isnt leaking?

if its a non turbo it won't be the 'cooler'

mine crapped out on me... did weird things to my motor!

its the non turbo. everyone says that this is the death wish for diesels but what exactly has happened. could it be as simple as a hg. (sorry for the noobish question but i havent actually had to tear into the engine)
