Thanks Quantum TD and Gearhead, I'll keep it in mind, hopefully I won't need to.
The job is done, It runs nice!!!
Timing was a big help runs much smoother. Cold Start Shaft seals did the trick too, no more diesel dripping or squirting out of there depending on it's mood. That means all of my fuel will now go to MPG.

The timing must have been way off before, runs and idles soo much smoother.
It's a shame I am going to have to redo it all but, I think she is fine shape for the trip, the foil / gorilla tape treatment on the hoses was interesting, they are firmer now for sure. maybe a little too, they were a bear to get back on.
My only beefs now are the Alt belt is too loose and I've got it adjusted all the way out but by the time I had the A/C tightened up and could adjust the Alt it was too late, I was too frustrated and I was not going back to Advanced for a 4th time especially after the 3rd time I argued with guy and asked him to please just get me the belt that crossed directly to the number on my old belt but, he insisted on getting me the belt that the computer said I needed...... :x
It does OK, but squeaks just after startup, a little belt dressing helped, I am sure it will stretch and maybe not even make the trip but, I fooled around for 2 days with the counter monkeys at Advanced, I am done.
I postponed departure until tomorrow, I spent so much time last night and today with the car i got no family time. I am heading to Orlando tomorrow after non and staying with a friend (the one that gave me the Jetta when it had blown gasser) I'll find a proper belt there, heck maybe even Contis. My friend works in service at an Audi Dealership, I am sure well come up with something. Thursday Morning I'll head up 95, well see how my in a pinch job does.
Or heck maybe my original parts order of good parts will finally show.. As of 3:00 UPS wasn't sounding like it though.
Thanks for the input on the pump, she is back together, dry on the outside and running like a champ
