SOLD- Bosch Diesel Injection Pump on Ebay
« on: January 27, 2008, 08:17:48 pm »
I put my injection pump out of my 86 Golf 1.6 N/A with 110,000 miles on ebay. I bought a Giles high-performance pump for my car and kept this one to reseal, but I never got around to it.

I wouldn't recommend it for 1.5 engines, it would be less then optimal. If you run it on a TD engine you are basically creating an ECO diesel except the pump plungers are 1 mm larger (I think) so you'd have a bit more power

so you recommend me leaving the ad how it is? it doesn't sound like an optimal turbo pump either

Well the 1.6 was available in the Mk1 chassis, also the Mk2 chassis goes up to 92, which you have excluded in your ad.

I might say that it will work on all VW 1,6 NA engines and will also work on the TD engine however power may be reduced. I say may be reduced because a good NA pump versus a crappy TD pump will most likely yield more power then the TD pump

I fixed the ad to include 1992 cars, and put in a note about it working on turbo models, though at a reduced HP 8)
