FS: 1996 vw jetta, 1.9L diesel

Well its pretty much a parts car, the body is shot. I will just sorta go over the good and bad things.

Bad:
-The body, there is rust everywhere and I think the factory undercoating is what is holding the back of the car together
    - The drivers side cv joint sounds toast but I havent actually taken a closer look
    - Brake master cylinder blew a seal in the back and my guess is the brake fluid is being dumped into the booster. there are no brakes
    - Drivers seat is broken, using the spare tire jack to keep is level

Good: lots of new things, I will break it down by km's

20,00kms
-rebuilt injector pump by giles, with new injector nozzles also setup by giles.
-All new shifter bushing but I think I am still missing something cause there is still some play
    - All new motor mounts, new clutch, throw out bearing, new main and con-rod bearings, new 4 pc thrust washers
    - Crank was out and the thrust surface was repaired and journals micropolished, used brand new bolts from vw when rebuilding the bottom end
     - New timing belt, tensioner, water pump, 3-way coolant pipe, power steering line - pressure side.

50,00kms
   - Rebuilt KKK-K03 turbo, pushing 10psi all day long

90,000kms
-rebuilt cylinder head, when installed there were no cracks between the valves/pre-chambers. The car has been babied ever since, no hard acceleration till the car has gotten up to operating temp.
    - honed out the cylinder bores and re-ringed the engine, now there is next to no blow by.
    - Crank repaired to fit tdi styled sprocket
    - upgraded harmonic balancer and one way alternator clutch pulley

I am sure there is more, I dont think I ever really stoped dumping money into that thing. It was a total wreck when I got it and now the engine runs like a top. Its a shame that the body is in such bad shape.

I just did an oil change on it and comming down off the ramps is when I lost the brakes but they had been slowly leaking for awhile, I had assumed it was a wheel cylinder. On my last oil change I did approx. 12,000km with lurbo-moly 5w-40 full synthetic and the motor lost about 3/4 of a L. I dont know if it is burning oil but I do know that the valve cover gasket is leaking, the nuts to hold down the cover at worn and I cant torque it down but I do have the new nuts for it.

I also have a brand new rebuilt bosch starter and wheel cylinder that I am not using and a garage full of odds and ends, like the vacume pump for the locks, some read drums, replays, wiper motor.

I think that about covers it, the car is in no condition to be safetied and would make a great parts car or if someone is doing a diesel swap and needs a good motor. I dont know what all this would be worth since it is only worth what people are willing to pay, so if you are interested send me a pm was we can work something out.
