control cone

So ive got the LDA off my pump ,and im wondering about the control cone.Well the  modification im wondering about is the teflon washer that stops the cone from dropping to far, witch stops guide pin from running out .The width of the washer(teflon washer) is about the width of unused fuel slope on my cone,so im wondering if taking it out completely would be a bad idea or should i shave it?If i take it out completely what would happen?

You need to basically make the spacer half the thickness.Removing it completely will give too much travel and cause the fuel to decrease as the boost increases.

How do ya figure?

If its a one sided cone not like a hour glass the fuel will continue to be delivered to the top of the cone.

dillenger1,
Take a couple measurements of the washer and the amount of travel your not getting and if it's the same take that suka out.

Mine has been MIA for almost a year now.
