Hi i am having trouble removing the oil pan to have the crank snout fixed the rear main seal holder is off as well as the frt crankshaft pulley.Any tips to remove the oil pan.all of the 6 mm bolts have also been removed. Thanks Al
The rubber gasket holds it on nice and tight, even with the bolts removed. try giving a good whack with a rubber / soft faced mallet to free it. Or get a large screwdriver or chisel under the edge at one of the corners of the block. The gasket is re-usable so try not to damage it

PS Damn these stupid crank pulleys :x
Hi I have the pan loose from the gasket and the block. It seems like it is being held by either a baffle or something inside the pan.I have a gap of about 1.5 inches between the block and pan. When I shine a light thru I can see a baffle holding the pan to the block. Is there an o ring the holds the pick up to the pan.Sorry for my ignorance as I have never removed an oil pan like this before Thanks Al
Sounds like you have the baffle sump gasket. If the pan is separate from the gasket it should just come off. I can't think of anything in the pan that would hold it on :?
If the gasket is still attached to the pan then it makes more sense as the baffle will get stuck on the oil pump pickup.
