I have heard the 1.9 stuff should bolt up, the ABA won't work because of injection pump mounting issues.

3 of the 4 bolts line up for the bracket, there is no hole in the block for the fourth one. I doubt it's needed. I'll be doing this swap in a few weeks

From what I can see on etka, (I've did a bit of looking)... it seems that the 1.9TD and the 2.0L ABA tensioner brackets are different...
I could be wrong tho... but it just looks different..I cant remember what specifically...

on a friends '93 vw passat, his serp belt runs the a/c, and alternator only. wp and ps runs off of a v-belt.
kind of a weird setup imo, but hey if your serp belt goes, no worries!

not trying to advertise their stuff or anything, but it is relevant..
http://zsimports.com/Mechanical/hardware.htm $429.99 isn't too bad either considering you get a new alternator! but from what the pic shows, you will need either a mk3 a/c comp, or find the clutched pulley which might be $$$

There are 2 styles of non-ac, one where the serp drives the WP, one where it doesn't. I have both in my garage right now. The PS is driven by a v-belt though.
Actually maybe I should check out that second one, maybe the AC was just deleted

I'll throw together a DIY with some PNs when I get to that stage. If I get the time I might mock it up on a spare block today
BTW don't bother IMing me about the setup, there's already a lineup
