Remember about a month a go I did a compression test with these results
1. 220
2. 300
3. 290
4. 310
Now the head is off and this is what I saw

the number one piston is 0.75 mm below the deck and number 4 piston is 0.95 mm above the deck
number three piston had some water residue inside as in it was getting water injection
The head had cracks between the valves on all 4 pistons and some minor cracks on the steel inserts for the IDI.
So I think I have a connecting rod bent (low compression and below deck piston)
Blown head gasket or head is letting the air into the water passages
I am so screwed
Ja, that stinks.

Well, at least you're close to the engine guy.
Of course not. You just need rods that match, maybe a measure on the crank to make sure nothing wrong there and some extra time and money. This is what we do. Rebuild em. This was the 1.6 NA?
Pulling the two pistons and laying the cranks on top on another or side by side you showed be able to see a difference that is that much.
