Spec says 112HP, 181 Ft/LB.
Between mods and wear, I am probably close to that.

Hi,
are the dyno plots related to the: "'81 Caddy..Diesel 1.6/1.9 TD hybrid 275HP 349TQ " from your avatar, if yes do you have built thread here, were i can read about the details and last dyno plots?
I realy like the curve with 28 psi and without nitrous, because the power increase all the way up to 6000 rpm, which should give a very good feeling when you rev it really high. I mean the last curve will be even quicker, but you need nitrous and i think you could feel that the power is stable instead of increasing up to 4,5 krpm. And anyhow what you have expected or what is possible with more nitrous, these are very impressive numbers for a 1,6 IDI engine and hints to a high knowledge builder.

very good! where do you get these maps haha? It is interesting this turbo is similar in size to the gt2056/gt2256 alot of people are running
Similar in size, but the Holsets comes with a 360deg thrust bearing stock and they are made to last in high boost applications (wastegate settings of up to 29psi from factory on these HE211W turbos)
if you have the map also available with "kg/s" axis i would be very glad if you could post that also.
Holsets original maps measure mass flow in kg/s * sqrt(K/MPa), but I made one for you in kg/s

Hi Alcaid,
thanks for the map, as i expected the Holset compressor map is very close to the Schwitzer S100 i have use on my Golf MkII AAZ, only valuable different is that the Switzer comes with an anti surge compressor casing, so the map is enhanced on the left side. It is also very simlilar to the Schwitzer S2A i have used upfront the S100, only the S2A is trimmed for better efficency at higher boost, than the S100 and the Holset.
Yor map is for a Holset HE211W and that was bolt on the 1.6 IDI, from the dyno plot you post, correct? If yes, do you also have a turbo map for this turbo and are you able to plot the boost line in the compressor map and or post a boost versus engine speed diagramm?
Best Regards

If you wand to see the Schwitzer maps, you can find them here:

Yes, the map if for the HE211W and it was used on the 1.6TD that pulled 173whp on the dyno. I do not have a turbine map if that is what you ask for

He is running 2,2bar / 32psi boost, don't have a log of the boost response from the dyno run.

165whp sounds about right for Mercedes turbo and 100mph trap speed.

So, anyone anything new? Still waiting for Aki's build to finish. He had it running, but had some issues. And I believe that he has been busy with his friends 1,9 TDi that they dynoed at weekend. 1,9 tdi with 12mm pump. 392hp/581nm with diesel and 469hp/700nm with nitros. It ran high 11s at quarter, mk4 Golf variant 4motion.

I had 12mm pump in Scirocco 1,7 and 10mm pump in both Audi engines. HP-Diesel has made all my pumps.

I been playin with gtech and have been getting some numbers for my 1.9/1.6 head non turbo.
Almost as good as a stock td and the fuel isn't turned up beyond a good haze.

I'm still learning what works. I shifted early into 5th and the tq number came up more.
Close ratio gearbox that's why.

gtechs are sweet. the only thing with quartermile times is they don't include reaction time, and the trap speeds are high, but still give you a good idea of where you're at. those numbers are really good blake, would love to see what it would do with the governormod done to it. so you should try the old governor mod. especially now that we can have jeremy baby sit through out it haha.

R/t doesn't matter As far as how fast a car is,you can sit there for an hour then launch.
I'll have to grab the book on it again and see because iirc it had a full drag mode and has a tree.
Yea the gov mod is on the list of 1000 things to do. I'm not nervous about doing it now it's been figured out.
It's definitely a performance advantage to run a close ratio on an na I believe if you can tolerate the revs.
