wow don't leave us hanging... what turbo and pump???
Turbo: Holset HE211W turbo with a 5cm^2 exhaust housing (the smaller brother of the more known HE221W)
Pump: 11mm superpump built by Dieselmeken in Sweden
do you know anymore about the turbo? i saw it listed on holsets website but i couldn't find any information about it other than that it exists. inducer and exducer sizes would be nice. it's sweet that the 5cm can flow that much power! i wonder if the larger pump heads are needed to help make good power below 4000rpms, it would make sense sbecause most tdi's make their power in that range and tdi people have said the hp limit of the 10mm pump is 150hp or so i believe. although idi's have proven the real limit is well over 200whp, but obviously at a much higher rpm. anyways that car must haul ass geez leave it to the scandinavians to know how to build fast small displacements diesels when they live in such a cool region where you'd think no one would even drive a diesel haha
I've measured the wheels with a digital vernier myself, so numbers are not 100% accurate:
Compressor:
Exducer 56,0mm
Inducer 40,6mm
Trim 0.53
Turbine:
Inducer 46.6mm
Exducer 41.3mm
Trim 0.79
And a compressor map off course

I converted the mass axis to the more common lb/min:

Pretty close to surge on a stock 1.6TD head, but easily solved by slacking off the preload on the wastegate somewhat (1 round on the adjusting nut). On the 1.9D/TD heads there is no sign of surge what so ever.

very good! where do you get these maps haha? It is interesting this turbo is similar in size to the gt2056/gt2256 alot of people are running
Hi,
if you have the map also available with "kg/s" axis i would be very glad if you could post that also.
Best Regards
By the way i like this thread
DAMN!! josh didnt post up the dyno sheet yet!!
he called me and told me all about it..
but im not gonna spoil it for everyone!
gotta wait till josh gets around to scanning/posting the dyno graph..
and we all know how busy josh is!!
Today I just wish I still had his number haha
Tell josh to forget about is wife and kids and report to us
i think we have concluded, that joshes truck was infact a hoax from the beginning, from what i heard he is actually a nigerian who photoshopped the pictures in an internet cafe.

Thought it was only rumors.. lol!
So here is the results of a few pulls on the dyno.
First and foremost, I was not satisfied with the operators at HPF. Due to how they loaded my truck up on the dyno, all jacked up and crooked, how they strapped it down, loose, how they attempted to set up their optic sensor for RPM signal and the whole operation of the dyno, unexperienced with old school diesels. They're used to OBD2 ports. The operator let it compression brake from 6K RPM!!!
Also, after playing with the nitrous tuner on Sunday, I must have ran out of nitrous half way through a pull on the dyno, cuz it just didn't feel right. Not that i have excuses for the results but there is some issues with the way it was set up and I ran out of NO2.
This is with stock waste gate 11psi.

This is is what I thought was 28psi.

Here is the nitrous and what was thought to be 24psi.

So there you have it.

It is a hoax!

.
I plan to refill the bottle and try again, check my boost gauge for accuracy and test with the G-Tec.
You got my 2.5liter on on HP, but not quite there with the torque yet:D
