Same dimensions or different? Haven't pulled my motor with the spun bearing yet but if the crank is marred in anyway I'm ganna need a new one I've got a 12mm 82 crank(covered in rust) and an 11mm 81 crank still flawless
Should be the same, but the 11mm will probably use a different crank sprocket with a woodruff key and slot, versus the notched nose on the 1991.
what he said, i would avoid using the 11mm crank if you can tho, they stopped making them like that for a reason...
im pretty sure only the very early 1.5L engines had the key and keyway. my 77 1.5D had a keyway, all my other 1.5s had the notch in the end.
i was actually told by a very reliable source that the early keyed crank noses are tougher than the later notched ones.. FWIW..
my 81 1.6 has the keyed crank nose, and it came loose and got all boogered up on me before.quite scary
