How can I find the right position of the thottle shaft if I have not marked.
It happened while I was doing governor mode.
Sorry I can not write inglish but I understand almost everything.
its kinda guess and check at this point.. set it on the splines and get the engine running.
if the engine runs away immediately, then you have it too many splines clockwise. if the throttle dont work, then its too far counter-clockwise. shouldnt be too hard to set back to where it was.
I use an aligator clip jumper wire directly from the battery to the IP stop soleniod when experimenting with spline positions so that I can rip it off immediatley if the engine starts to run away... there's a 50/50 chance it will.
Thanks.Next week I will get a new pump. Can I just swap pump top between them?
LMFAO.. your gonna buy a whole new pump just because you dont feel like doing a very simple task at hand? new fuel pumps are atleast 700 bucks dude..
just fix your f_ck up.. its not gonna bite you. and it cant hurt the engine. the pump on the engine still has a governor that works..
you are really gonna let yourself be defeated by 1 10mm nut, some springs, and a piece of metal with some splines?
ive lost the correct position of the accelerator shaft before many many times, its way easy to set back up, and ive never had a run away that i wasnt in control of while i was re-aligning the splines..
you arent giving yourself enough credit. just try and do it before you say you cant do it. its not brain surgery, just the OUTSIDE of a fuel pump. replacing the fuel pump is way WAY harder than fixing whats there..
but its your call, if you need a new injection pump just because the splines of the old one arent lined up, then go for it.
In my country the pump costs 30USD.I take it for spare parts.
please do not shoot me.

Once I assemble everything, I will show pictures of the car.I made some modifications that I think it would be interesting to show.
The pump is ready. The question is how to set it up. Hit 14-15psi. There is not much smoke. Boost pin is in the aggressive side and star wheel is screw to the bottom position. I have FMIC and T3 turbo, 2,5 straight pipe and governor mode.I thing there is something wrong because I don fill turbo kick but smoot power increasese, nothing special.I have EGT but in wrong place I drill downpipe i never see more then 500-550F.
putting the pyrometer in the wrong place is just as bad as not having one at all.. why do something, if your just gonna do it the wrong way? it doesnt read anywheres close to what it should if its after the turbo, as the turbo is a variable waste heat remover basically..
pyro goes before the turbo
something wrong because I don fill turbo kick but smoot power increasese
You don't get a turbo kick, it just goes a lot faster quicker. But you should feel it come on boost

turbo is a linear pull, not a kick like nitrous.. at low RPMS, the turbo dont help much, but as the RPMs rise, the boost pulls harder..
nitrous is the only way to get a "kick" that i know of, unless you run a supercharger on an electric clutch..
