Does anyone know if a K03 will bolt up to a 1.6 non eco td?
All north american VW diesels will accept all north american diesel exhaust manifolds. So if the K03 and the manifold came from a vw diesel (it would have to be a 1.9TD or TDI) then it will bolt up.
A K03 from a 1.8T gas engine is a totally different animal though and will not fit. The only thing they have in common with a diesel K03 is the basic bearing housing size.

You'll need The ko3 manifold which has a three bolt flange,Your current manifold will have the four bolt flange. As well as that you would need to customize the turbo's oil drain pipe and you would need the hose for the ko3 turbo's outlet going to the inkake manifold.

In case you need the manifold and the turbo, i have a set in my garage from a TDI.. As Andy said, you'll need some custom tubes, but it's not rocket science..

Thanks for the help. My Jetta is consuming lots of oil. I suspect the turbo seals and 1.8 K03 turbos seem to be plentiful and inexpensive. Sticking with a K24 makes more sense though.
You might just think about rebuilding what you've got. A lot of places could do that job fairly cheap or Jake has rebuild kits if you want to do it yourself.
