So, I just pulled the head off my car to put on an AAZ head gasket among other things and noticed that a couple of the prechamber inserts are cracked. How would I remove them? It looks as though tapping them out through the injector hole might be the course of action here but I thought I might ask before giving that one a try.
Also, I was looking for some new ones but I don't see the part number in Etka....Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place. Can anyone give me the numbers? Thanks!
If you are going to trash them, just weld a bolt on it and with an hammer puller it's very easy...

Note to self - Buy a slide hammer.
Why not just use a long drift through the injector hole if they're just an interference fit?
So far I haven't found new ones so this is quickly becoming a moot point.
I use a blunted 3/8's socket drive through the injector hole. I sell 1.9 pre cups brand new for $25 CAD. I never could find replacement 1.6 ones.
Ya know....they worked before when they were cracked, so I'm sure they'll still work. I just hate putting things back together when I know there is something wrong. No matter how much I know it won't affect anything. I'd think about stealing some from another head, but all I have is 2 solid lifter 1.6 heads and a 1.9 head sitting around (besides the one off my car).

Why are you asking if you know one solution?
