It's in production
Replaces V.W. # 068-129-067 A ( no longer available )
It will have 48 mm for the turbo side so it will fit all models, the aircleaner side intake will be oblong
( not Round)
I will include two 100% s/s worm gear lined silicone clamp's
Color: Black
Custom Color will be available
Two intake ports like the 1.6TD original model, one can be plugged for the 1.9 AAZ Motor
GB
P.S. Iam doing this as the stock vw model is too big I.D. for the K03 Turbo, the new size will fit all model's and I matched the airfilter intake( oblong) instead of the stock round for a better fit.

Buddy of mine might be interested in 2, for a AAZ would you supply a plug for the extra hole in the tube?
Curious of who is producing these for you, i have been looking around at getting some complete silicone intercooler pipes and turbo inlet pipe for our mk4 tdi's

87 too much for me

* MKI - I was thinking MKII my bad *
I got the stuff, but didn't open it. I left it in the wife's jeep too. I need to go get it and fit it up and see if it needs welded just like the one in the FAQ post.

could we see a pic of this? After further inspection, this isn't that bad of a price if it is all I need. I can make it work for an MKII I bet.

You can buy used Mk2 snorkels pretty easily - compared to Mk1.
They go cheaper too.
You might can even still get Mk2 new. But probly $100+.
Not trying to jinx a sale for GB, but the Mk1 tube will put you short - unless you're just going with a cone filter. But probly still will be shorter than where you want a cone to be.

It was made to be used for the MK1 stock airfilter ( box) assy
With the new mandrell tool it can be made for either Turbo inlet
KO3 Model (1 in production) Mine
T2/T3/K14 ( 13 in production )
These will be available from MKI Autohaus , he will be the stocking dealer and has a signed agreement.
The MkII snorkel will be next in line for tooling.....
You can always use a AAZ model , Does anyone know if they made different snorkel's( Part # 's ) for the two different Turbo's

I fit like a glove on my KO3, I re-used the l bracket from K&N to secure the MK TD airbox
The 1.6 Breather hose fit perfect also to the snorkel, I used a rubber thread protector to cap off the other breather hose ( AAZ )has only one.
This all started with me wanting a MK1 TD airfilter assy , and the the intake for the turbo was too large for the KO3.
I made the mandrell with two different insert's so the i.d. could be made for the T2/T3/K14 Model also
The MK II prototype is in the works , just finsished the Tiico Vanagon project and the made all new silicone assy's for obsolete coolant hoses for Van-Cafe....
What's next ?
