  Someone asked me this question and I didn't have the answer. I would assume that it does, seeing as you can share head gaskets between the 1.6's and the 1.9s.
  
  An extra question: Would it work on an ALH TDI too?

• Yes for the 19.6/1.9 IDI. Not for the ALH. It has a different oil pan design mainly because of the chain driven oil pump.
