Hey,,
I fininshed up last night with the big project...
Got some good help form you guys......
replaced cam seal im seal Tbelt water pump......
Anyway,
Looks like the Water pump is leaking from the
gasket..... It is seeping a tiny bit........... I tried
tightening the bolt in that area...... Afraid I may
have made it worst......... or is it (WURST).....
So it is seeping at about the 2 o'clock position
between the pump and the housing... below where
the timing belt cover mounts to the pump with a ten
millimeter nut..............
I am afraid I have to rip it all down again........ OUCH!
Does anybody have any suggestion?

Du' Monst
When I do water pumps, I use the 2.0L water pump gasket, because it is a metal w/ rubber one. Never had one leak yet.
Def. clean the bolts and use anti-seize for ease of repair next time. If not, use plenty of penitraiting lube and some heat on the housing to get loose.
Yeah,
I anti sneeze everything these days....
I get it apart, when it goes back together it gets the smear....
I did the gasket with a light smear of some RTV......
So maybe the 2.0L liter gasket is the way to go...
Is there a way to do the pump without yanking the
timing belt..and the IM pulley...
This 2.0L gasket,,, Is it metal on the inside rubber on the outside?
