• I have lost my prime again and was wondering what is the prefered brand of fuel filter?  The filter on the 1985 Jetta now doesn't have a name on it. The only printing I saw was "Made in Isreal 12977". It has the water drain on the bottom middle.

• I'm rather fond of WIX filters, but have had good luck with Bosch as well.

• Carquest or Wix for me...  Bosch aren't readily available unless I remeber to order some extras..

• If it says made in Israel, its probably a Purolator.
