• ... tis the season for a whack of "now that it's getting colder my car won't start" posts and I thought I'd get ahead of it by building a "Glowplug 101" HOW-TO.
  
  Got most of the pictures I need but I don't own an MK1 or MK2  these days so can't take pictures of the all-important coolant temp sensor.  Google images couldn't find any for me either.
  
  So, if anyone has a reasonable camera and an older diesel I'm looking for:
  
  - good picture of the MK1/ early MK2 brass glow plug coolant sensor, usually on the driver side coolant flange (got it... thanks Bobby!)
  - good picture of the later MK2 plastic glow plug coolant sensor... usually on the front coolant flange iirc
  - a picture of an MK2 fuse/relay panel that shows the location of the glow plug relay
  
  Anything that can scaled 800x600 at 72dpi is perfect, and of course you'll be credited / retain your copywrite of the image.

• wow funny you should be doing an FAQ on that. Are you also covering the how to on replacing the pesky glow plug fusible link?

  btw....I love my pimped glow plug circuit even though it doesn't run by the coolant sensor.....yet(needs to find ce1 cluster.....anyone?)

  That's the right panel... what I'm looking for is an actual picture, since people seem to relate to pictures more so than drawings.

  Thanks... I'm looking for a clear picture of the fuse/relay panel, so that I can circle where the glow plug relay lives.
