10-12 psi is the factory spec, iirc.

The K03 is the smallest turbo known to man in regards to a car.
I am running 20PSI of boost on the K03. Been told I`ll only get 10000kms from it though.
It was at 10PSI from factory. Thing runs out of air at around 3000RPM on load.

Would it be safe to run around 15 to 18 psi with no mods? Or am I looking at blowing something up

Have you an intercooler?
Peugeot 306 1.9dt came with k03 and intercooler and ran at 14psi standard, with many people upping it to 18/19psi reliably.

No intercooler, 353,000KM on her. I'm awaiting my boost gauge to arrive so I can set it. I don't want to blow the motor up...yet lol

boost is not the enemy. head bolts and fiber gaskets are tho.

I'm thinking about doing the rings, put a metal HD on and maybe some ARP studs.

More boost will decrease your egts.
I would suggest grinding your boost pin a little more for some extra juice.

A k03 would be smaller than a garrett t2.
A k03 would be equal in size to a garrett gt15, roughly.

I thought the K14 and GT15 were similar and the K03 was the baby.

Stock should be around 9 psi. If you're gonna boost it further, get ARP head studs.

Gt15 / k03 are simular sizes,
and k14/t2 are simular sizes, t2 slightly bigger...
How come you guys manage to get power with such little boost, i need a good 25psi to get all my fuel burnt, goes well for it, but seems when your all managing with 15psi, thats standard on my car...
