• I was putting togetehr a list of parts I need on Autohaus Az's website and pulled up a pan gasket and they list two.
  Part# 044103609D "Oil Pan Gasket; Reinforced Rubber" $13.56
  Part# 037115220B " Oil Pan Gasket; With Baffle,  Update retrofit with baffle plate to prevent oil pump starvation under severe conditions."  $36.24
  
  That is first I have seen of one with a baffle. I can see the point I guess, seems like a way to go. just not sure, any cons to using the upgraded one?

• My AAZ came stock with one. Since it's bonded to the baffle, it can't slip out of place either. You should get it.

• yeah pretty much all engines after 93 made by VW had them. Not sure about the CLs though. I had one on my 1.6TD.
