As the title says, i need a turbo pump for my conversion. if you've got one that's decent, let me know. Also, i planned on drilling the block for the oil squirters, but i need to know if my 84 block has the oil galleys integral. i notice that a later model gas block, which looks remarkably similar, has the same pads outside the cylinders as mine, and therein lie all the oil squirter passages. having never seen these squirter assemblies, I'm a little in the dark. If anyone knows about this I'd be very grateful. Also, any tips would be much appreciated as I'm a total neophyte.
Thanks!
Rob
The oil galley is quite a way from the flat spot .You need a long drill to tap this galley.VW squirters are $$.Their are others you can use ,but is the open press. right? An intercooler and large exhaust ,oil cooler would be easier for me.Plus you need to buy TD pistons with "jet reliefs"Or notch your NA pistons.

SWEET! Not being one to reinvent the wheel, I'm listening. So that's a waste of time. GOOD. My machinist is good but cranky.
What's the best place to buy the pistons and rings? Is the crank up to the job? How about the head? I need a pump as well, where's a good place to buy one?? I have the block, head, pan, and intermediate shaft at the machine shop as i type being checked out. I planned on going .020 over as well. thoughts?
TIA!
Rob
