Long story short, I need to replace the piston spacer shim in the pump head. The one that came out is 2.09mm thickness and the one I have is a 2.4mm thickness. Can I use this? Any negative effects? Thanks!
ive not got years of experiance or a definate answer but in my mind id say that it wouldnt make any difference, the piston will still get the same distance of lift.
thats my opinion, assuming we are talking about the right part
if you want a real answer then just see how it runs
Remove the end cap plug on the head and measure the BDC (not TDC) of the plunger + ou - 3.7mm is ok.
Between the face end of the plunger and the sealing face of the cap screw.
With the rear of the slide caliper It's easy.
