Right boys, before the tax runs out tonight on the GTD i took it for a razz, got to say well impressed with it,no intercooler either. Its a AAZ with a T3 turbo,2.5" exhaust and the fuel screw is still SEALED.
The only thing i did was to grind the aneroid pin to give it a bit more power, this mod was amazing,it flies,no really flies, the timing is set to 0.95mm and starts 90 degrees crank rotation  so its set up ok,
The aneroid pin is a bigger diameter than the 1.6TD pin so i had to grind the AAZ pin, today i scrapped a rover 220TD with a broken belt at 95mph,noticed the Bosch ve with the spaceship on top so i took the oin out,WOW,what a pin, larger AAZ diameter, and a cone that tapers so fierce it nearly leaves no metal at the top of the cone, needless to say,it went in my GTD this afternoon, wow, even better than my home made pin,and it seems to be a smoother power build than before,it even spun the tyres in 3rd gear too,
Now the question, without altering anything but the aneroid why is it so quick,im peaking at 11 psi, still have the cast downpipe on,no porting etc,i have the pump number here, its a brand new bosch fitted just before i cut the mk3 up for the lump, can you check it to see if its the right one anybody? 0460 494 346
Cheers Bert

the boost pin can add quite a bit of fuel

a very good way to increase economy while off boost and power when you want it

Bert,
Had the fuelling maybe been altered before the pump came off the last engine?
Could you do a pull in 4th gear between 2 and 4000 rpm so I can guess the power?

xud,i cant use it now due to the road tax running out,the fuel is standard, the car was an old gents,it had a vw exchange engine fitted,a brand new bosch pump, then it failed the mot on loads of corrosion, the engine is as new with the tdi crank in it,the pump has not been touched, the fuel screw cap is still on,i havent done a governor mod,top still sealed, ive just swapped the aneroid pin, thats all,my mate cant understand why it pulls so well, even up to redline, the power keeps coming it dont die off toward top revs, suits me sir

Its got to be worth a try,ive not touched any other part of the pump, the only thing ive got is a T3 turbo and a 2.5" stainless exhaust, and the pump set to 0.95 instead of .85 so it starts better when hot :?

Start collecting pins and send them over to us in Canada!
Very interested.
