well its take me way too long to post but about 6 months ago some nice people helped me get going into the diesel world so i thought id give back some love with my love and some kicken pics!!!!!!

yea thats what my dad told me about the abs i had some aluminum tubing that i tried to bend with my friends bender and i mangled it so i went into the garage and put it together ... it feels smoother? a bit of lag and my boost gage seems to work better it doesnt bounce at idle (its probablly cheap) im stoked though is it possible to get thoes bends with 2/ 2.5" aluminium? its a bit of a maze ....

I tried to have an exhaust shop bend some aluminum for mine, didn't work as I think the wall needed to be thicker. I ended up using aluminized exhaust pipe instead as I could get the custom bends and it was fairly cheap. I used the one stock rubber hose off the turbo, some 2.5" gates rubber to the IC connections, and some regular rubber rad hose right at the intake manifold, with the steel in between everything.

yea i just consulted with a buddy at an exaust shop he thinks he could get those tight 90 on 90's with some welding using exaust pipes im going to leave it with him on wednesday so he can fiddle with it in his free time...all my boots are silicone so im not worried about that the orange 2" to 2.5" off the turbo and intake are from a 2004 ford f-250 my shop put a Banks kit on (yoink ill take thoes dumpster diving at its best) well now i have a sweet before and after... darn money why does it have to get in the way of volkswagen glory.....

I have black PVC pipe coming right off the turbo into the intake elbow and it looks fine. It has only been run about 1,000 miles but I am not worried yet. I also plan to fix it better when I find an intercooler.

You ought to be careful with those ebay aluminum tubing kits. Often the metal isn't exactly top notch and is very difficult to weld. If you plan to run much boost pressure you need to consider how you're going to keep those connectors onto the pipes. This is the latest setup I did in my MK3 which uses all aluminized steel mandrel u-bends. The pipes are all bead rolled but I still managed to blow one off the other day when it spiked up to 27 psi. I don't think I quite had the clamp all the way over the bead.
Without the beads you're probably going to get tired of putting the tubes back together on the side of the road. I'd recommend the steel tubing over the aluminum in most cases because it can be more easily welded with a common MIG welder and it's not really as heavy as you think.

You might be able to get away without the beads at only 8-10 psi if you have nice clamps and connectors. Ages ago I was only running 14 pzi on my Rabbit with an Arkay turbo kit. The tubes weren't bead rolled for some reason and they blew apart several times before I could get them to stay. You should really consider T-bolt clamps if your pipes won't be bead rolled. I just readjusted the VNT actuator on my turbo and haven't driven it since, but before it was hitting about 28 psi sustained even though I only requested 26 psi. The N75 just couldn't keep up as duty cycle was about maxed out.
