Note how they go from the stock oval port on one side and than are CNC milled out to the circle size of the primaries. 8)

Yeah intake manifold is actually a jig piece for when I was playing with runner length to tune the manifolds for the best balance for low end vs. high boost/flow.  You can see the results of my new bead roller on the end of the transition piece there though 8)

is the exhaust piping larger than the round ports?  Just curious if you're gonna have a step to reduce potential back flow (ala Bells 4-stroke performance tuning) or is this not needed in turbo manifolds?

Wowie, that's SICK!  Are these going to be for the D.I.Y.'ers to make their own manifolds?

Jtanguay, Thanks man, start putting the change in a jar :D

ezekiel, yes there is a step and its on the oval side of the flange, the circle side for the primaries is perfectly matched.

Benjamin, thanks man :D

lord_verminaard, Thanks and yes these will absolutey be available for the DIY'er, as well as the intake manifod flange, and different turbo inlet and outlet flanges, and collectors, givin these arent gonna be as cheap as just some off the shelf laser cut vw 8v flanges, but as you can see these arent your ordinary flanges. We have been working really hard to make the best manifolds possible, this flange is just a taste of whats comming 8)

Trevor, thanks mang, start saving that extra skrilla, and you'll get what you want.

Heres a screen shot of my soon to be here intake manifold flanges for 1.6, I don't have a screen shot for the 1.9 version but you get the idea. They will be made from .5" 6061 almuinum.

1.6:

I made some narrow angle 4-1 merge collectors for t3 style turbos and vnt style turbos, gt series collectors are on the way. These were all cut on a mill anf fit perfectly, sure as heck can make them much better than this.

Here is the collector I made for a t3 turbo inlet (rectangular inlet/port):

And the vnt style (circle port/inlet):

We made a jig for the collectors for 100% perfect repeatability.

Were you ever going to get K24 flanges?

Any Ballpark Ideas of how much money Im going to have to put forth for these....

yessssssss daddy's earned it!!!

this is serious stuff... our engines will operate so much better when each individual port gets exactly the same flow as another... wow i'm so glad that the diesel community is made up of geniuses!!!
