Yeah, I Thought I had this one solved...
She actually ran pretty nice for two days...
I mean yeah, there were still things but.....
At the end of a day of work(today) I went to
start it up..... Started very poorly....
wa,wa,wa,wa,wa,vummm......
usually wa,vuummmmm.....
I drove about a mile or two...
stopped at the store and took
a peak. It was the Lawrence Welk show.....
Freakin' bubbles every where.....
I went and got fuel.... she was low..
13.5 gal to top it off......
drove 30 miles.... still air all over.
Now here is what I have done....
New filter(bosch) and clamps on
the lines.... filled filter so not to
get air lock.......
Now two days ago when I decided
on the clamps... It was when I
opened the trunk checked out the
sending unit... well, it was sitting
in a puddle of fuel..... cleaned it
up.... did the clamps........
Now the clamps didn't do squat...
but I must say it ran ok for two days...
with very little air in system..........
Well, I really would have liked to
check the sending unit before I filled
up the tank today.13.5gal.. to verify if the
sending unit was dry before hand.
I had the wifie rev the motor alittle
to see if there were leaks... no leaks.
unless when the warm fuel runs through
it perhap somthing happens then...
It doesn't look rusted... maybe
a hair line crack (white plastic) on the return
side where the sending unit
90's down... I just see a very thin dark
line running down in the plastic.....
(but i maybe wrong-- just trying to find something.....)
Suggestions are appreciated...........
Monst
