Exhaust port matching
« on: June 22, 2006, 07:48:38 am »
just finished matching the intake ports, it was easy, not much materal to remove. The exhaust ports have more materal, almost 1/8 all around. That seems excessive, I dont want to cut too deep. Is there enough material there or should I just maybe do half. Polish or no polish, I searched and found conflicting results...

there's theory that having a step up in size from ex. port to manifold helps out. Anti-reversion or something like that. Might be worth looking into just leaving it that way.

that makes sense, I'll probally match the manifold and do half on the head.
