yes, i got a EGT meter, but the EGT goes up when the feul goes up, when there is more air, the egt's lower.

But how can i know that the injectors are to little? i'm busy with my 1.9td (non vw) i got 11mm plunjer, planning governermod, gt20v turbo, ... so how do i know my injectors are to little?

ore is there a link between EGT and to little injectors?

My understanding is, small (overfueled) injectors would show high egt's because though, they're shooting more fuel, it's occuring with a longer duration to do so and with more timing advance to compensate for this. Bigger injectors can deliver the demanded quantity of fuel in a shorter, better timed event, helping to keep egt's down as long as there is enough air in there as well.

Where are you from ?

If you have an AAZ, i think your in us or canada. This engine already have a turbo.

If you speak french, go in the "Moteur a injection indirecte" in the french section of this forum.

about the nozzle's, i know you can adjust the pressure if you place plates under the spring, so you can make higher pressure, but i though, the pump got his limits  :!:

There were 4 turbos available for the 1.9td AAZ engine code. The ko3, the garrett t2 and pretty much the same one an airesearch t2, and the kkk k14. All of them are way to small for a 1.9 engine, the t2's and the k14, would be better suited for a 1000-1500cc engine, the ko3 is even smaller and would be good for something like a snowmobile   Moral of the story is get a turbo from a 1.6td a garrett t3 or a kkk k24 than you can make some decent boost without creating excessive EGT's and exhaust backpressure.

Also 155 -165 bar seems to work pretty good for tuned td's.

Suposed to be a K14 or a T2 from your engine year.

Boot can boost 1 bar (14.7psi) without problem. Above that you can with an intercooler.

So nozzles are fitted :D

There is much more smoke :D But I'm not sure that there is pretty much difference

Maybe near the red line car is faster

And one more quastion today... How can I know, what turbo is it?? Is it written anywhere on it???

So, next step I'll do - throw out the catalysor!  8)

I got the IC from FIAT TEMPRA, now I have to think about fitting it! :)
