plunjer question
« on: April 23, 2006, 11:41:04 am »
Hello,

i got a pump question.
i got a VE pump, wich got a 9mm plunjer.

i want more horsepower & torque,
i got all the stuff i need, good engine, egt meter, IC, big turbo, ...
i know i can adjust this pump if i change the flow with the screw(smokescrew).
but i think i wan't more.
but i don't know wich to choose, i got 9mm punjer right now.
wich to take 10 - 11 ore 12mm?
i don't wan't much black smoke if i drive normal.
i don't got a vw, but i think it's all the same.
it's for my 1.9td

Can someone tell my what about the camplate???
when do i need other/bigger injectors/nozzles?

tnx guys, greetz, Benjamin

i think the 12mm helped crack  my head ,from a prechamber to a valve seat,,,a 12 had balls, but i nuked 2 head gaskets, combined with closed wastegate action,,once i  blew the gasket rite out the side of the block!!!!lotsa fun
Throttle cables ftw

While almost all ve pump head/rotor assemblies are interchangable with the actual ve "case" but often you find that the head foot doesn't match up to the camplate. Not all camplates are created equal. If oyua re worried about smoke get a custom intake manifold and port the ehad along witha  3 angle valve job. Also more EFFECIENT boost will help.
