Oil pressure buzzer
« on: August 02, 2015, 01:03:33 am »
My girl friend got a mk1 jetta 1.6na diesel last year. It would buzz whenever it got above 2k rpm. I replaced the sensors, checked for loose wires, and used a mechanical oil pressure gauge. Everything looked good so I said screw it and grounded something. I don't remember what i ground though.
So yesterday,  she left her lights on and killed the battery. I guess while changing the battery she knock the ground wire off and it's buzzing again. I need it to stop. It's maddening. What did I ground?

Ok. I found it. It's the wire that plugs into high pressure oil sensor on top of the oil filter.
