Long time no post.

Got another 82' Vanagon Diesel. This time in a bit better shape.

Going to get it running this weekend, has been sitting for 5 years.

Very excited for this project!

Name him Hank.

Sat for 8 years, only 137k kms on a 1.6D. I am second owner.

No start, go figure.. got it running off a bottle after a bit of cranking. Replaced two bad glow plugs (behind the injection pump, lol) and primed fuel system, starts right after glowing now.

After adding some fuel to the tank and leaving for the day, noticed that there was a puddle of diesel underneath the tank.. greeat.. after some research I found out it was probably grommets that are old and dried out. Ordered kit, going camping in the van this weekend! Stolked!

Cleaned Hank up a bit. No more moss, scraped the rust (all surface), and touched up the paint.
