Can I put injection pump top with LDA off 1.9TD or 1.6TD onto a 1.9NA pump?

Can I install an injection pump top with LDA off 1.9TD or 1.6TD onto a 1.9NA pump and have it work well as a 1.9TD pump?? I was thinking so as long as the delivery valve pressures for a 1.9NA pump are the same as 1.9TD pumps - but don't know if they are?? Please coment!!!

no, wont work like that. will still have the same max fueling as an n/a pump if you could get the LDA head on.. gotta remove the limiter pin INSIDE the pump before the LDA head even fits on the n/a pump body..

Thanks for info - ok and the limiter pin how dificult is it to replace if I have one from a 1.9TD - I would be resealing pump anyway and have found instructional CD to help with - I know this takes patience and one being very meticulous - I have an older pump that I would clean and reseal first just for GP first before I tackled this - any ideas - tips or advice?

i cut the pin off

either remove the pin, and plug the hole, or cut the end of the pin off..
