I have this weird looking sensor type thing on the PCV line coming up from the valve cover to the intake tube on my 92 turbodiesel. I read something about this being a heater so that any water droplets coming out of the oil wouldnt form ice and hurt the turbo. I put this engine in my 89 jetta that does not have the plug in for it. I am wondering if it is a big deal to leave it unplugged or should I try to rig something up? Any and all ideas welcome.

Thanks

Splice into your fuel cutoff solenoid for hot and then run the other wire to a convenient ground.
That's interesting. Is it supposed to heat all the time, not just when it's cold?
