Trubo hot side problem
« on: May 03, 2011, 01:03:32 am »
Hy!

I have a problem with my turbo hot side...Garrett T2. The wastegate is a total rusted, and not working,i have no pressure ball...  >:( , but i have a wrecked KKK K14 turo with a good hot side! Can I fitted the K14 hot side on the T2 cold side, with the T2 central, or the whole inside of the T2 fitted in the K14 housing??

most likely not without machining of some sort.

garrett parts and KKK parts do not fit together like that.. like was stated, you would have to machine the hot side to accept your center section.
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.
