wow, that turbo is really colse to your master cylinder. do you ever experience brake fade from heat soak?

You think? if you look at the pic on the first page that Keaton posted, you can see the distance, 8+ inches?

The master cylinder is cold to the touch after running for over an hour (well, same as anything else under the hood).

And it's a damn sight further than it was:

UK RHD car.

The Vitara engine bay is MUCH larger than the golf bay, so there is actually a lot of circulating air in there.

this car tho, im sure it still has all its heat shields and such still in place..

but i guess your turbo isnt really THAT close to it. but if it was me, i bet i could get it hot. i would be out wheelin that thing any chance i had.

you should find a spare hood for your Kick.. then you could have a hood stack for it! (hood stacks are B!TCH!N
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.
