Is there any way of getting more throttle travel?

I remember reading on the "Make your NA a faster car" thread that it's possible to replicate the gov mod by moving the max throttle stop. I have removed the plastic thing under the gas pedal and the screw on the pump but is there any way of getting more throttle?

I would put the pedal plastic thing back. I have heard that the arm on the pump likes to break off if you don't have it in place. Read the 2010 Gov Mod edition and Make your 1.6NA a faster car...again. The gov mod is one of 8voffury creation.

yea, theres no external equivalent..

you gotta open up the pump to do the mod..

Libby has the link to move the shaft on the arm which helps as well, but is a different mod. I think it is called how to blow smoke at WOT or has that in the title.

I guess I'll have to open the pump then  I wound the starwheel down about 15 clicks and that helped a lot. Now I have a black cloud-like haze off boost and completely clear on boost!
