I know the feeling; 3 years on my AAZ build for my own '81 and she's still on the path.  Keep going; you sound like you're doing it 100% right!  You still going Giles for the IP?

yeah,  about 5 years owning this car so far. its killing me not driving it. I do want a giles ip and injector setup, mostly because he does it right and has the proper testing equipment. it might get a stock td ip just to br able to drive it for now.

I do plan on autocrossing it, so I'm really debating suspension and brake parts and chassis work. mk1s are flimsy!

I have run coilovers and poly bushings only on my rabbit rally crossing it and it stiffened it up a lot!  I want to see pics or this car isn't real!

theirs a couple in the rides section.

its just got bottle caps and louvers on the hatch now. classic mk1.

it really needs a duckbill/gti front facia and euro bumpers. I'm keeping the squares.
