1.6 mls headgasket

I read that 53 willys ran one of these and from what i understand it is custom. How can I get one of these without going through a whole lot of trouble? Anyone else running one of these or something else that will hold up a little better than a stock hg? thanks

If you have a hydro head then just buy the correct thickness 1.9 aaz HG, it will bolt right up. If it is a mechanical head check out 53 willys stuff and he will tell you where to get stuff

Saurkrat has some threads about blocking off the extra coolant passage. I did as well if you check my build thread.

Oh the aaz one will bolt up to the hydro 1.6?! Wow thanks you just saved me $100. Thought I would have to have it custom

Yep 100% bolt on. Just measure for piston protrusion and you are in there like swimwear.
