Where to buy Headbolts in canada for a aaz
« on: July 18, 2010, 05:45:33 pm »
Hi Everyone, Been lurking for a while & have seen some bad reports about prothe's stuff, however his head bolts are $12 for 10 & the dealer wants $9.57 each! Do I have any other options as Napa doesn't list them, or is the dealer price in line with what everyone else is paying.
Thanks Dan

Hi Dan,

www.autopartsonlinecanada.com has them for a couple bucks each last time I looked. They have warehouses in Canada and usually very fast shipping (free over $75)

any VW dealer but you may pay top dollar for them there. I'm sure any shop that calls themselves an audi/vw/european shop would have them also. But I personally LOVE the website that Tyler linked.

Altrom part# 068 103 384a
You should be able to use this part# through your Napa store.  They're about $2ea retail.  These are the ones that I have been using pushing 25psi and lots of fuel with no issues.
