turbo oil return leaking at oil pan.
« on: June 23, 2010, 11:15:27 am »
so i did valve cover gasket as it was leaking alittle then i noticed still a few drops of oil on driveway so i looked like it was coming from oil pan gasket so i replaced that. then after all done and went out next moring and a flipping drip on drivway!!! WOW!!!!!

anwyas only thing i could think is it got alittle movment when lostening that bolt but it didnt move very much so now i dont want to take oil pan off again could i juist buy some of that high temp gasket sealer (copper stuff) and goop it around where it goes into the oil pan??? i would think this would work as there is no pressure just a drailage hole.....

grrrr.......

If the actual 90 is loose then the weld has broken. Clean the outside of the pan and JB weld it up. Like you said, no pressure.
