Hey guys, i was just wondering, i have an 94 golf with the AAZ and right now it has the k14 turbo in it, havnt had a chance to drive it yet as i am repairing engine but i was wondering if anyone knew about the following 2 IHI turbos and if either would be better suited to my golf? A friend gave me the turbos, one looks old and he said the other was rebuilt. i want fast spool but dont want to run out of power too soon. heres the specs on the IHI's. I would just like to beat or keep up with a few of my buddies cars lol.

I found this page
http://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/mattmouth182_rag/mx6/page.html
by googling ihi turbo specs. I think it will help you decipher the casting numbers into information which can help you decide like trim and a/r. with this info many more people will know what the turbo(s) are capable of.
What are the exhaust flanges like?

the vj11 is outt of a suby I am guessing? Its not really a diesel set up, more for 1.8 gasser. I'd look for a better fit for the 1.9 a K24 would be better.
